Intelligent people
should begin to flee
the world's
monstrous cities, to
move to the land or
to emigrate to still
livable countries
like Costa Rica.
Robert's The Miracle, Joy and Art of Living, Volume I - The Great Scene of Creation Chapter 6 - I and Creation One of the great lessons I have learned from my religion is to make an examination of conscience, a daily balance sheet of good and bad every evening before going to sleep. It is a practice which should be followed by all religions and peoples of the Earth and made part of the new global, world-wide spirituality. It is a subject which the United Religions Initiative created after the second World Parliament of Religions should place on its agenda.

There
is a very substantial
increase of passengers
from poor countries
who travel by air to
visit members of their
family who emigrated
to rich countries such
as the US and Canada.
This costs them plenty
of money and it
congests air traffic.
I hope that fast
long-distance railroad
lines will be built to
facilitate the trips
of such people at
lower costs, for
example from Mexico to
the United States and
Canada.
Robert's The Miracle, Joy and Art of Living, Volume I Chapter 5 The Miracle of Individual Life
When I do not
like the present, I dream of a
beautiful event of the past or
of a brighter future.
*When I do not like the world, I think of the heavens. When I do not like my body, I think of my soul.

3 September 1998 The countries going fastest will be the first to be confronted with the abyss. Wisest will be those taking it easy. The time will come when people from the first countries will emigrate to the second. Robert's The Miracle, Joy and Art of Living, Volume II Chapter 13 - Of Speaking The spinning of our planet around the sun seems immense to us. And yet, in the vast universe, the Earth is so small that it can barely be seen from the sun! At a distance of a few light years, our planet becomes invisible, a mere speck of dust in the universe. And yet, we are. We are even a lot! The cosmic microbe I am is able to be conscious of most of the universe, from the infinitely large to the infinitely small!

On Missions and Metrics
"There is an old Zen story about a man riding a horse, galloping
frantically down a path. His friend, who is sitting by the side of the road, calls out
'Where are you going?'
{ read more }The man replies: 'I don't know. Ask the horse!' When we build our tools, we often depend on metrics to guide our development. We must take care when we use metrics. Metrics can be like the horse in the old Zen story. Once we decide on them, they have a habit of setting the agenda. As the old adage goes, what gets measured gets managed." Be The Change Reflect on and question how you measure things in your own life, personal and professional. Books recommended by Robert are here.
