World servants should never have personal or political interests. Their only interests should be the world and humanity. Volume II - The Art of Personal Happy Living Chapter 12 - Of Beauty and Arts When I visit a museum, I consistently refuse to visit those rooms which contain decomposed, uninspiring art. And if I dislike a work by a so-called "famous" artist, I do not hesitate to say so. Bad art is promoted by the silence and kindness of people. In art as in everything else, there must be a democracy, an honest, free expression of public opinion. *
