[GMW #4135] Fulfilment Of Individual, Family, Whole Human Family Is Predominant

[GMW #4135] Fulfilment Of Individual, Family, Whole Human Family Is Predominant   Idea Dream - Robert Muller's Ideas 3001 to 4000
~ Idea 4525 ~
On one fundamental subject at least humanity has thought a lot and devoted a lot of research, namely human groupings, human societies from the individual, the family, local collectivities, associations, to world-wide entities and the total human family. The existence and meaning of nations, of religions, of ethnic groups has also been covered very extensively.

The question remains: which should be the predominant, most important groupings or elements? I would say that they are the individual, the family and the whole human family. All others should be subordinate, contributions, aids to the fulfillment of the individual, of the family and of the whole humanity.

Earth government has two ways of behaving:  like a good mother give the breast to the baby when it is feeding time, or feed it only when the baby cries of hunger.  Good Earth government consists of foreseeing needs and preventing cries.

There are only two lasting bequests we can hope to give our children.
One of these is roots, the other, wings.
