Instead, blinded by its sovereignty and power the US policy was to denigrate, criticize and keep the UN at the lowest level, not even paying its dues to it for a number of years. Well, this opportunity will not last much longer: soon the European Union, after having created a second world currency competing with the US dollar will progressively expand into a World Union far superior to the United Nations.
