[GMW #4081] Live A Long Healthful Life - With Good Breakfast & Lunch - Without Heavy Dinners

[GMW #4081] Live A Long Healthful Life - With Good Breakfast & Lunch - Without Heavy Dinners  Idea Dream - Robert Muller's Ideas 3001 to 4000

In order to live longer I will try to break the world record of longevity. This goal being much higher than simply to live longer, it might have the effect that I will live at least a little longer. I told Barbara that she should do the same.

It had some immediate results on our ways of sleeping and eating: we have no longer dinners in the evening or only very light food in order not to overburden the stomach during the night. We think that it is an error to have heavy dinners, that they are contrary to the needs of the human body, that very solid, good breakfasts in the morning are breaking the fast and are giving the energy needed for at least six to eight hours of active life. Then at mid-day there should be a good luncheon for the next eight hours. In the evening there should be practically no more eating, not much energy being needed during the night. Total abstention of alcoholic products has been our rule for a long time. A physician of the 15th century, Paracelsus, said already: "Fasting is the greatest remedy, the physician within."

Chapter 2 - Our Miraculous Planetary Home

To think that in the universe there is a species with limited brains and senses which tries to understand the entire fathomless Creation and time!  What a pity that such a wonderful species has not yet learned to live in peace with itself and to preserve and cherish its miraculous planetary home.

WORD FOR THE DAY
Do not pray for tasks equal to your powers. Pray for powers equal to your tasks. Then the doing of your work shall be no miracle, but you shall be the miracle.
