[GMW #4304] An Intensive Substantial Acceleration Of Action On Environment & Population
Idea Dream - Robert Muller's Ideas 3001 to 4000

The growing loss of the environment, of the nature of our Earth diminishes a little less every year as does the growth of the human population. But we have lost one third of all the Earth's nature in the last seventeen years and trebled the world population since the end of World War II. The situation continues to be disastrous and requires an intensive substantial acceleration of action both on the environment and on population.

Chapter 5 - Of Love

Arnold Toynbee once was asked what he would recommend as the single most important means for achieving a better world. He answered:

"If only people could be kinder to each other."
He could have added "more loving."

Kindness ... what a simple and beautiful world program that would be! We need indeed an International Year, a Decade, a Century, a Millennium of World Kindness and Love.
