I read Dag Hammarskjöld's Markings. I discovered that in the United Nations he had found God as the Master and that he had to interpret His will as the Secretary General of the UN. I would have never thought that I would rediscover spirituality in the United Nations. Perhaps spirituality is such a fundamental human need that it always reappears in one form or another in life and history and that we might be on the eve of a World Spiritual Renaissance.
