The idea of voluntary services for young people,
giving them the opportunity to be of service in
other countries, is so important that the money
for such services should be taken from the
military.
The military should be transformed to a large extent into voluntary services. As a result of the aging explosion where there are so many old people who have no longer any idea what to do, there could be volunteer services for the aged taking advantage of their wisdom and experience. They could become teachers or advisors in schools, tell the school children stories, what they have learned from life and give them advice. That would create a bridge between the generations. It would be a great, new advance in human, social relations.
