[GMW #3438] Global Must Reads For Schools - The Universal Declaration Of Human Rights and The Earth Charter

[GMW #3438] Global Must Reads For Schools - The Universal Declaration Of Human Rights and The Earth Charter Idea Dream - Robert Muller's Ideas 3001 to 4000
~ Idea 3837 ~
At the Costa Rican radio they announced in the morning that it was the hundredth anniversary of the day when the Spanish Parliament decreed that every child in Spain must read the Don Quixote book. I will ask UNESCO to establish a list of all these 'must' readings which nations have decreed for their young citizens and why no works of a global nature are recommended. Two texts come immediately to my mind, the Universal Declaration of Human Rights and the Earth Charter which specifies how we should love and take good care of our Earth.

Robert's The Miracle, Joy and Art of Living,
Volume II The Art of Personal Happiness
Chapter 3 - Of Consciousness

The ultimate purpose of being a human is to realize that we are each a miracle and to determine what is expected from that miracle. And the whole human society should be construed to make this possible for everyone to be.

This is what the Montessori schools and Robert Muller schools are doing. We should never lose sight that the whole planet Earth is engaged in one gigantic effort to find its maximum consciousness and fulfillment in the universe. We must all bring our share to it.
