It reminded me that I had written a book entitled The Birth of a Global Civilization in 1991 of which I gave him a copy. Future history is likely to prove that Mr. Gorbachev and I were correct world diagnosticians and prophets. * Robert's The Miracle, Joy and Art of Living, Volume III Chapter 8 The Life Beyond I often feel that my life is a lamp, a temporary container filled with light, a flow of energy, condensed and held together for a while in a mysterious, marvelous very complex cosmos linked with the rest of the Earth and the heavens through material, visible, touchable and immaterial, invisible, untouchable elements. Someday the lamp will extinguish. The material elements will be reabsorbed by the Earth in her chains of life and energy. The immaterial elements will return to a universal soul to be reborn in other forms on this planet and elsewhere in the universe.
