[GMW #4431] Gandhi's Savvy Non-Violent Service Updated To Earth Peace Service - Making All Armies Obsolete

[GMW #4431] Gandhi's Savvy Non-Violent Service Updated To Earth Peace Service - Making All Armies Obsolete Idea Dream - Robert Muller's Ideas 3001 to 4000
~ Idea 4817 ~
When Mahatma Gandhi fell to an assassin's bullets on 13 January 1948, he was about to go to the United Nations for a historic meeting to establish a non-violent shanti sena or 'peace army' on a world scale.

This dream was minimally fulfilled with the creation of United Nations Peace Forces.

It will reach the apex only when all armies in the world will have been abolished or integrated into Gandhi's proposed World Peace Army.  Let us do it.

The Earth:
"Yes, why should only nations have armies, and not I?  I should have one too.  Its mere existence would guarantee world peace."

Humanity must now acquire a global, all-encompassing heart and soul.

WORD FOR THE DAY
It is when we are confronted with...poignant reminders of mortality that we become most aware of the strangeness and wonder of our brief life on Earth.
