[GMW #4000] Sustainable Survival Not Economic Growth Or Sustainable Development

[GMW #4000] Sustainable Survival Not Economic Growth Or Sustainable Development Idea Dream - Robert Muller's Ideas 3001 to 4000
~ Idea 4393 ~
Humans have become a damaging, destructive species of planet Earth. We have forgotten that we are Earth-alive and that we live entirely on her elements. The absence of air alone would kill all 6.1 billion humans within hours. (Now over 7 billion)

But what can we do: our economic system has been overtaken by these new, fundamental facts and dangers but closes its eyes to them. It continues to destroy under the banner of development and economic growth, more recently 'sustainable development'. But what about 'sustainable population growth, sustainable survival?".

The Earth: "Dear Robert, you are a good man. You try to do your best and there are growing numbers of humans like you who are trying too. Basically I'm not worried but feel sorry for you: you might vanish within the next hundred years but many species will survive.

Humanity anyway will soon be composed of children glued to television, adults glued to computers and old people touring around the world or parked in old people's homes. I have seen many species' take a wrong way and disappear during my millions of years of existence. My evolution will continue, even without the human species, perhaps even better."

Chapter 1 Our Place in the Universe
We live in the universe. Hence we are universal beings.

We must pursue our evolutionary elevation into fully transcended cosmic beings. We are a rare, unique form of life at the spearhead of cosmic evolution.

It is our duty toward the universe, from which we come and receive everything, to fulfill our cosmic destiny.  As a first step, we must define that destiny.
