[GMW #4709] Obedience To World Objectives & Ways To Fulfill Them - Not Blind Obedience To Any Institution

[GMW #4709] Obedience To World Objectives & Ways To Fulfill Them - Not Blind Obedience To Any Institution Idea Dream - Robert Muller's Ideas 3001 to 4000

~ Idea 6094~
I came across St. Francis’s testament of three pages of five main paragraphs. I jotted down the following notes to work on them some day as my commitment or testament to the world.

First paragraph: He changed his life from the wrong to the right side after having seen the lepers and the horrible killings when he was a military.

I was shocked in my early childhood by a ‘border’ I was not allowed to cross, by the militaries and their weapons, and by the extreme poverty of the people.

Second paragraph: St. Francis was struck by the role of the churches and of the holy cross. He decided to build and rebuild churches everywhere.

I decided to help build a peaceful, just and happy world, a great united peoples.

Paragraph three: For St. Francis, obedience to the church hierarchy.

Not I: no blind obedience to any institution, but obedience to world objectives and ways to fulfill them.

Paragraph four: The Lord showing St. Francis the holy gospel. He followed it and did not attempt to attract followers and create a new religion. His ways were poverty, preachings, prayers and love.

Not I: I live a simple, frugal life, have dreams and ideas, love and work for humanity and the Earth. His main prayer was “Our Father in heaven”. That is mine too, but adding Mother Earth.

Paragraph five: His manual work in the world of the poor and the peasant farmers.

My work too in nature, with farmers and global citizens.

The individual has always had to struggle to keep from being overwhelmed by the tribe.

If you try it, you will be lonely often, and sometimes frightened.

But no price is too high to pay for the privilege of owning yourself.
~ Rudyard Kipling
