Saint Francis devoted his Canticle at his death to
Brother Sun, Sister Water and to the Lord. This text has
survived the centuries.
It should inspire all humans to write their own canticle, testament, goodbye to the Earth and to life. We are all living Earth and since the Earth the sun we are also children of the sun. And since the sun receives her energy from the cosmos we are also children of the cosmos, of God. Robert's The Miracle, Joy and Art of Living, Volume II - The Art of Personal Happy Living Chapter 6 - Of Hope Where there is no hope, the nature of a human changes. Where hope ends, despair and decadence begin. To pessimists: Since you cannot escape from this planet, you might as well enjoy it.
