It is interesting that we have a very good,
meaningful and powerful word in the human language
to help uplift people, namely 'to inspire', the
act of stimulating faith, ideals, ideas and dreams
in other people. But we do not have an accurate
word for the persons who give the inspiration. Why
not 'inspirers'?

When I was a pessimistic young man after World War
II I thought that at the entrance of the United
Nations one should inscribe these words of Dante at
the entrance of hell:
"You who enter here leave all hope." Today I think on the contrary, that we should inscribe: "You who enter here never leave hope."
