Thursday, September 21 is the United Nations International Day of
Peace. The 2017 theme is “Together for Peace: Respect, Safety and
Dignity for All”. A worldwide focus on human rights and the shared
responsibility for Mother Earth herself.

Millions of people stop for a minute on September 21 to meditate or visualize a world at peace. Please join us where ever you are. Several Santa Barbara events you may wish to join. The Nuclear Age Peace Foundation will have an update on Nuclear Disarmament in D.C. and at the UN from 3- 4pm at the NAPF office, 1622 Anacapa. Please RSVP 805 965 3443. And then from 5-6:30pm, join our conversation about the International Day of Peace at University Club. No host wine and simple snacks will be available.
