In these 4000 Ideas I have proposed the creation of many world
universities. I would go one step further: the International
Association of University Presidents or a World Commission of
Eminent Personalities should take up the subject of world
universities. It is high time to do it. A World Plan and
Coordination of such universities would avoid enormous
duplications of costs, leading to more productivity, lower fees,
no fees and help to the students. This is a very vital subject
to be reviewed and rethought from scratch at the beginning of
this new millennium.
