A GOOD IDEA… “All people living in a warring, conflictual country of the world should remind governments of their sacred human right to peace proclaimed by the United Nations General Assembly in a declaration of 12 November 1984. It reads: ‘Aware that the establishment of a lasting peace on Earth represents the primary condition for the preservation of human civilization and the survival of humankind, recognizing that the maintenance of a peaceful life for peoples is a sacred duty of each state, solemnly proclaims that the peoples of our planet have a sacred right to peace.’” Robert Muller is a UN peace pioneer and part-time resident of Costa Rica.
