I recommend two actions:1. the establishment of a World Commission of Eminent Personalities on Democracy; 2. the inscription of the item on the agenda of the United Nations for in depth study and yearly reporting by nations. One of the subjects for example should be a world-wide comparative study of electoral laws. Is it normal, is it democratic that in certain countries candidates can receive big campaign funds from business? How free will they later be to resist the demands of those who helped them to power?
