French stores and "supermarkets" offer about three times more
diversified, often unnecessary merchandise than US stores. One wonders
if all that merchandise will ever be sold, and what will be its fate.
The pupils of the US around the world are overdoing their masters. All
this will create a disaster for the Earth.I urgently recommend the creation of a World Peoples' Movement to Save the Planet by Consuming and Buying Less.

What we call "goods" in a store might be "bads" for the Earth. What we
call production might be destruction. What we call progress might be
regress. Please, dear member of the 6 billion human family, before you
buy anything ask yourself these two questions:1. How much Earth has it cost to produce?

On the airplane back to the US they sell "customs-free goods". The UN
International Civil Aviation Organization should prohibit that any
merchandise be sold on airplanes. We must de-merchandise the world in many places where business has merchandised it. Only then can humans find again their individuality and magic, inner self. For the same reason, movies and television should be prohibited on airlines, which are one of the few places on Earth offering long hours of solitude for reflection and meditation. Robert's The Miracle, Joy and Art of Living, Volume II Chapter 4 - Of Positive Living Humans have tremendous possibilities for destruction as well as for construction. This is true for individuals as well as for the entire human race. If only all nations, all religions, all human institutions could always be on the constructive side!

Dearest Jack and Ann,Your message is so wonderful and full of special memories. I love your description of Robert as a gracious, kind, loving proactive man of our time. He was all that and more and I pray the weather is good for you and that you join us on March 11. Love, Barbara Muller --- Subject: RSVP March11th Dear Barbara, I'm Jack Lenchiner and I met you only once at the UN Plaza Hotel. Robert introduced me to you as his fiance and asked me what day do you think you were to be married. I said November 23( Sathya Sai Baba birthday) and he said yes. He then invited me to the luncheon with many UN friends. I invited Robert to speak at the first public meeting for the Sathya Sai Baba centers at the Beacon Hotel in NYC around May 14, 1984. He was not a devotee but was doing such good work I felt that is what counts. I had the privilege to have video taped Robert in home with Margarita in Hasting on the Hudson. Also taping him on his 27th floor UN office, one or twice on my cable show in NY on Public Access. I also have somewhere many photos. Many years ago there was a Woman Of Vision conference in W.DC were I believe 500 'Woman of Vision' from around the world attended for 5 days. The Organizer, Rama Vernon also had a day of 'Men of Vision' Robert and I were two of the 33 Men invited. 18 Native American Grand Mothers blessed us at that time. Many wonderful memories of this gracious, kind, loving proactive man of our time. One lasting memory that may be on tape. At the closing of my Cable show 'Ultimately You' I asked Robert if the whole world was open to hear what you have to say what would you tell us. He replied are you kidding Jack? I can't even get Regan and Gorbachev under the same roof. I said Robert that has already happened (looking ahead in my heart) now answer the question. He said you are a bigger optimist then I. Of course it eventually came to pass. Barbara some health and weather challenges here in Windham but do RSVP : Jack Lenchiner and Anne Miller for Friday.
