Idea Dream - Robert Muller's Ideas 1001 to 1500
~ Idea 1344 ~    16 March 1998

Ecology (the science of our home) and economy (the management of our home) should be merged.  Economic decisions should only be taken in full knowledge of their effects on our home, the Earth.

University students should be required to study both ecology and economics.

In idea 573 I recommended that no student should be allowed to take economics before having studied ecology.

The time has come to coin a new word: ecolonomists [ecolomists], a new economic profession who would take ecology fully into account.

Robert's The Miracle, Joy and Art of Living,
Volume II Chapter 4 - Of Positive Living
Most of your life will depend on how you "see" things.  If you see them in a positive, hopeful way, your life will be fulfilled.

If you see them in a negative, hopeless way, your life will be unfulfilled.  It is as simple as that.
