The Birth Of A Global Civilization

Dear Mr. Muller,

The reason I contact you is because I just finished your book 'The Birth of a Global Civilization' and I wanted to personally thank you for writing your vision down. It is very inspirational and you are right!

Myself I am a teacher and working on a project to start a new type of school in Europe that would have a curriculum like the one you propose in your book ( I hope you don't mind) and lots of recreational activity in the afternoon where children/teens can practice music, arts, sports etc. This proposal will then go to our minister of education, Pascal Smet, who will also be the European Counselor of Education starting in July.

A close friend of mine is working to start a EU student forum that would be held twice a year in the EU parliament to reunite students from all over the EU.

The goal is to start a new educational system
where kids and young people:

  • develop character and personality,
  • learn about our planet,
  • learn to take responsibility for themselves
  • Learn to take responsibility for their fellow people around the world and
  • feel engaged with what they do.
I might need your help in terms of a motivational letter and so does my friend.

The time is ripe, politicians might need some convincing....

Thanks again.

Sincerely Yours,
Laurence
