I must admit that my life has become supremely improved since that fateful day. I wrote about the experience on my website, autismfunhouse.com  I have a 12 year old daughter with autism, a 9 year old son we adopted from Vietnam as a baby, as well as a 31 year old son whom is a filmmaker, a 28 year old daughter whom is a teacher and a 20 year old daughter whom attends college. My father lost his family to the Nazis, while he spent 7 1/2 years in a Russian labor camp during the war.  I never could understand how he lived such a full and happy life after such atrocities, but after reading your book, I have a better understanding. I believe in fate and meeting you has helped me gain perspective about my daily struggles raising an autistic child. You are a gift. By the way, we share the same birthday, March 11!
