Medals for killing other human beings. The United Nations should make a world list of them, assemble them in exhibits and request their world-wide abolishment.

When I think of all the mistreatment I have given to my poor body for many years, I stand in wonder for its astonishing resistance and self-healing virtues!

Thanks God, I stopped smoking, avoid all alcoholic drinks and changed my nutritional habits. Probably this saved my life.

I am in endless admiration for the patient, incredible will for life of my stupendous natural, God-given body.

RE: [GMW #1313] Move To Life From Overproduction, Overconsumption & Busyness. Repopulate Deserted Rural Areas Worldwide. Move From Overcrowded Cities.

Dear Robert,
I like this idea, or a version of it. Some time ago, I came up with a similar plan:
  • Since children need to have as much time as possible with their parents, and
  • since parents often have a hard time making any time to be with their children due to the obligations of earning a living, and
  • since most jobs these days are in the city, and
  • since children thrive when raised in the country, and
  • since children raised in the city are often victims of a host of dangers from crowding, disease, crime and poverty, and
  • since the quality of each new generation is of vital concern to all members of society, and
  • since many people don't really want to be parents, at least not during their peak earning years, and
  • since all of us, whether we have children or not, depend on the younger generations when we grow old, therefore
  • I propose that parenthood be considered an essential job that needs to be handled by couples who are willing to do it.
  • These parents could be paid by society so that they could spend all of their time raising, protecting and educating our future generations.
  • They could live in the country and have large families, which would compensate for those who chose to live in the city and remain childless.
  • Most of these youngsters, as they matured, would leave their homes in the country, drawn by the irresistible lures of the city.
  • Some of them would eventually return to take up the torch of parenthood.
  • We all will be better off.
Sincerely,

Jay Dyck
