The time will come when even without proper Earth government national governments will call for emergency meetings at the UN to adopt world environmental laws enforced by a World Environment Court. The US could be the first country to request it. But it might be too late. If it succeeds, after the crises have passed, humanity will look back with dismay at the irreparable damages done to the Earth and at our lack of foresight in the 20th century.
