[GMW #3412] Modern Global History Should Become A New Major Subject For the World

[GMW #3412] Modern Global History Should Become A New Major Subject For the World Idea Dream - Robert Muller's Ideas 3001 to 3500
~ Idea 3811 ~
I wonder how many resources, human, financial and paper consumption are devoted respectively to the national histories of 189 nations and to the world's global history.

The latter must be infinitesimal small compared with the former.

This is in itself a historical aberration considering the actual facts, developments and further evolution of the planet. I recommend strongly therefore that modern global history should become a new major subject at all levels of education, librarianism, publishing and archivism.

Volume II The Art of Personal Happiness
Chapter 2, Of Happiness

The world abounds with people who want to dream, to love, to hope and to be happy. Yet happiness, love, dreams and hope are nowhere to be found on the agendas of governments and of world affairs. There must be something wrong with this planet's politics. There should be Ministries of Happiness, Love, Dreams and Hope in every government.

Winter is the time for comfort, for good food and warmth, for the touch of a friendly hand and for a talk beside the fire: it is the time for home.
