It would collect and publish statistics and information on all types of accidents in the world, exchange experiences, promote accident prevention, survey accidents happening to children, to the elderly, in all professions, etc. It could have an extraordinary effect on the reduction of accidents, of medical costs and of personal and family miseries. I was thinking of that when I noticed that in the bathroom showers of many hotels in the world, even the very best, there is rarely a handle to hold oneself when taking a shower. It would be interesting to learn how many accidents this causes, especially to elderly people.
