Idea 4532 ~
From
a reader in
Australia:
"I agree with you that the essence of evolution of humanity is the growth in individual human wisdom and the unfolding of all global knowledge, the enhancement of human creativity and enlightenment, and the love of peace, art, culture and true civilization. We currently have a planet which is rampant in its predisposition to materialism and profit at the expense of life. It negates even the value of human life and in this mounting whirlpool engenders economic, technological, social, moral and ecological crisis. I believe the core crisis is a spiritual one. We must get back to the essence of who we are and understand the infinite potential within humanity. I agree with you that it is "vision" that counts. I note in your text on the 'Absolute, Urgent Need for Proper Earth Government', you mention a series of conferences which all create the compassionate integral approach to human life and civilization that you have. What we need is to plant a seed of hope for all of humanity, to inspire the international community and inspire all dedicated human beings to speak out in co-operative unison for a more co-operative caring and integrative world. We need the great humanists and statesmen like yourself, the great scientists, the Nobel Prize winners to come together, like never before, to be a beacon of hope for all humanity." Dr. Richard Ellis Robert's The Miracle, Joy and Art of Living, Volume I - The Great Scene of Creation Chapter 2 - Our Miraculous Planetary Home
When
people ask me
if I feel more
French or more
German, I
answer: "I do
not feel
either. I am
a human being,
not a
Frenchman, not
a German nor
anything
else. If you
insist and ask
me where I
come from I
will answer:
from a
beautiful
region of
Earth called
Alsace-Lorraine.
And my love
for it does
not require
that it be a
nation. On
the contrary,
I am happy it
is not. If it
were, I would
love it less."

4531 ~
From
Barbara
Gaughen Muller
David Cooperrider and Jim Lord inspired the following idea: Children of Planet Earth can become the new vision keepers using the technique of imagining a perfect world and asking their parents, teachers and clergy as well as elected officials of their communities three or four questions that both renew the dreams of the one being interviewed as well as inspire the younger generation. The questions could be: 1. "As you reflect on your career, can you tell me the story of a highpoint, a time when you felt most alive, most impactful, most successful in terms of contribution to this school, community, etc?" 2. "So what was it that made it a highpoint? Can you tell me what you value most about yourself?" 3. "What one thing are you most proud of?" Thus the connection of generations and inspiration begins with a shared vision of hope and joy. Idea 4530 ~
From Barbara
Gaughen Muller
As Robert and I listen to the radio in our simple cabin on Mt. Rasur, so many songs reflect the peace and justice humanity seeks. This morning the song, 'If I Had A Hammer', speaks to the theme of justice. "I'd hammer out justice, I'd hammer out love for all the people all over the world." Once when riding in a taxi to the airport in New York, I asked the cab driver what two songs he remembers learning first. He said, 'If I Had a Hammer', and 'Let There Be Peace on Earth'. There could be two new songs 'The Cleanest Mile on Earth', to show how one person can make a difference, and a Hopi song, 'Kogyun Deyo', the name Spider Boy given to Robert Muller to remind him to capture all evil on planet Earth in a vast spider web and toss it far into outer space. Robert's The Miracle, Joy and Art of Living, Volume I - The Great Scene of Creation Chapter 2 - Our Miraculous Planetary Home
Once
in a corridor
of the UN I
commented to a
colleague that
within a few
minutes we had
met three
heads of
states. He
replied:
"Never mind.
If you have
seen one, you
have seen them
all."

Idea 4529 -
4531 ~
To Robert, the
man of my
dreams and
Dreams for a
Better World.
Here
are three
ideas for you
from me for a
Better World.
Barbara Gaughen Muller The best seller book Ladder of Years by Anne Tyler speaks of personal courage of the heroine, to leave her confused, meaningless life and start over with nothing but the clothes on her back and $500. The process of the benefits of simplicity to find one's meaning for life is summed up when she moves to a new home with her thoughts on page 171, "she liked the notion of a life no larger than a single, compact box." What a beautiful idea that each of us could have a more meaningful life, as Gandhi did. When all his possessions at his death were gathered they took less space than one compact box. And this man of few possessions is remembered today and his teachings have become world known and honored. The book, Ladder of Years that speaks to a different way of finding meaning without buying and shopping became a best seller. Robert's The Miracle, Joy and Art of Living, Volume I - The Great Scene of Creation Chapter 2 - Our Miraculous Planetary Home
