Why do they exist?  Is there a reason, good or bad?  Should we not eliminate the causes of protests, revolutions and terrorism when they are justified, when human nature is brought to the point of resorting to such extremes? It is not good enough to say that protests, revolutions and terrorism are bad and must be condemned world-wide.  They are realities of human life on this planet.  Their causes should be investigated, studied. For example, the population of the poor countries will increase by 3 billion people by the year 2050.  This might create extreme poverty leading to revolutions and violence. Would it not be good to study that cause, reduce or eliminate it?
