[GMW #4037] Nurture Cosmic Consciousness - Wonderful, Broader Fulfillment

[GMW #4037] Nurture Cosmic Consciousness - Wonderful, Broader Fulfillment Idea Dream - Robert Muller's Ideas 3001 to 4000
~ Idea 4430 ~
In a human life most meaning and understanding will arise from immediate concrete experiences around us. But we must also open our minds, hearts and souls to the inspirations from above, from the total universe and time, from a God or divinity, offered to us by the great religious leaders and prophets of the miracle and sanctity of life. This is what is most needed in our current world civilization.

We know our planet inside out but we must not remain down here on Earth. We must see ourselves from above, from heaven, from the far universe and time.

Our recent global planetary consciousness must now be extended into a cosmic consciousness. We must now acquire or re-acquire a spiritual dimension. It will no longer be the sole world of 'intelligence', of science, of technology, of business and materialism.

It will be another wonderful, exciting much broader fulfillment in the universe and in time.

Robert's The Miracle, Joy and Art of Living,
Volume I The great Scene of Creation
Chapter 1 Our Place in the Universe
Of the vast expanses of the universe only a tiny part is of concern to us: our solar system, our outer space and our biosphere. Beyond that we are perfectly safe: we are located in such a remote corner of the cosmos that no explosion of a nova nor a galactic upheaval is likely to affect us for billions of years.

Our only danger and potential enemy is ourselves.

[GMW #4036] Manifest Mega Optimism On Planet Earth

[GMW #4036] Manifest Mega Optimism On Planet Earth Idea Dream - Robert Muller's Ideas 3001 to 4000
~ Idea 4429 ~
There is optimism of thinking. There is optimism of loving. There is optimism of action. There is optimism of the soul.

To cultivate all these optimisms makes us very remarkable human beings, the best possible, 'admirable', successful optimists. We need so much optimism on this planet.

Robert's The Miracle, Joy and Art of Living,
Volume I The great Scene of Creation
Chapter 1 Our Place in the Universe
It takes a great act of courage to try to make sense of life and Creation: it requires faith, love, passion, commitment, dream, enthusiasm, poetry and music as much as mathematics and science.

There is more in Shakespeare and Beethoven than in Darwin and Einstein.

I sometimes wonder if humanity would not be better off by foregoing its investigations and conquests of the infinitely large and infinitely small.

We could as well be content with seeing Creation as it is in all its breathtaking beauty and wholeness manifested on Earth.

For will we ever be able to control the forces we unlock?  That is the great question.

[GMW #4035] We Badly Need A Science Of Admirology, A Science Of Enviability To Help Us Get Our Admirations And Envies Straight

[GMW #4035] We Badly Need A Science Of Admirology, A Science Of Enviability To Help Us Get Our Admirations And Envies Straight Idea Dream - Robert Muller's Ideas 3001 to 4000
~ Idea 4428 ~
Wealth and power are ways and means of entity promotion, of being envied and admired by others. The bigger the wealth or power, the larger our admiration and envy are supposed to be. This is no longer right and should be seriously studied. We should learn to get our admirations and envies straight. We should not admire people who became wealthy through unethical business. We should not admire bad leaders of nations or heads of armies killing other human beings wholesale to be victorious and gain more power and territory. We badly need a science of admirology and a science of enviability. There is optimism of thinking. There is optimism of loving. There is optimism of action. There is optimism of the soul.

Beautiful, satisfying music required the search for the laws of harmony.  Similarly, a beautiful, happy human society will require the search for the laws of harmony of the Earth and of the universe.  This will be the role of tomorrow's universal, human and Earth preserving, embellishing government.

[GMW #4034] We Are Entering Into A Stupendous New Evolutionary Phase Of Our Human Journey And Destiny As Cosmic Species

[GMW #4034] We Are Entering Into A Stupendous New Evolutionary Phase Of Our Human Journey And Destiny As Cosmic Species Idea Dream - Robert Muller's Ideas 3001 to 4000
~ Idea 4427 ~
Humans have that incredible capacity to switch on their attention and concentrate on a thing, on a detail, on a particular event or action and then envase it into something vaster, into the totality of our Earth and of the universe. This has evolved us into a global species and will continue to evolve us tomorrow into a cosmic species. We are entering into a stupendous new evolutionary phase of our human journey and destiny. What makes us humans so extraordinary is that we can see and feel the entire universe, God, infinity and at the same time concentrate our love and attention on another human being, on a companion, a friend, a child, a beautiful flower, a little animal or object. Yes, it is so great, it is a true miracle to be a human.

After the Gaia hypothesis will come the Uranus (solar) hypothesis.  Then will come the Zeus or Whole Cosmos hypothesis and we will find God again.

[GMW #4033] The Atmosphere Of Our Earth And Its Fragile Appearance Is Enormous

[GMW #4033] The Atmosphere Of Our Earth And Its Fragile Appearance Is Enormous Idea Dream - Robert Muller's Ideas 3001 to 4000
~ Idea 4426 ~
When you think that the atmosphere of our Earth is enormous, please remember this remark of an astronaut who saw the Earth from outer space: "For the first time in my life I saw the horizon as a curved line. It was accentuated by a thin seam of dark blue light — our atmosphere. Obviously this was not the ocean of air I had been told it was so many times in my life. I was terrified by its fragile appearance." Ulf Merbold Federal Republic of Germany

Chapter 1 Our Place in the Universe
When humanity will have solved its material, political and social problems, its intellectual, emotional and moral problems, it will be faced with the most fundamental question of all: the spiritual quest, namely what is our place and meaning in the universe and in time?  Then will start the cosmic, divine age of our fabulous journey.  Then we will find at long last the right answers to our problems.  At the entrance of a new century and the third millennium the UN should convene a world conference on the meaning and spirituality of life.
