[GMW #3838] Bring To Life Thousands of Ideas And Dreams For A Better World

Idea Dream - Robert Muller's Ideas 3001 to 4000

There is this story of Thomas Edison's efforts to find or perfect a durable filament for electric light bulbs. He tried more than 9,000 different materials but failed. His assistants said, "It will never work, you better give up." He answered: "Well, we know now for sure 9,000 filaments which will not work.

Let us get busy and find the one which will work." And he did.

This is what I do with my innumerable ideas and dreams. I have proposed more than 4,000 of them. There are thousands more to be found for humanity and our right relationships with the Earth.

May many people join me and come up with their own ideas. We could be called the Thomas Edisons of Peace and a Better World.

Decide to
do at least one Good Action a Day.....

If not several
Or innumerable ones.
Talk to God every morning
And ask Him:
"What good can I do today?"
He will answer you and guide you
for He is with you
And you will have given Him life
By asking Him.
He can not manifest Himself
Without being asked.
God speaks to you through your soul
Which is the true guide of your life.
Ask God, talk to God, dialogue with God
And you will be the source
of many miracles.
You will produce them all around you.
Do at least one good action a day
During all your life
Until the very end
Just think what a huge amount of good
That will represent!
And if all six billion people on Earth
Do one good action a day
What a beautiful, peaceful, incredible world it will be!

God: you will have achieved paradise Earth.

Idea Dream - Robert Muller's Ideas 3001 to 4000

I wish that a great world foundation or philanthropic organization would take an interest in the archives of former world civil servants.

When they retire they usually offer their archives to the United Nations archives but these are so overloaded with official archives that they have no room for individual ones. Most of them are then thrown away, and not kept by the families.

I feel personally unhappy when I think of all the important events I have participated in or shaped, of which I have kept records in my journals and preserved papers and that all this will disappear, cared for by no one, lost forever for the global history of humanity and of the Earth, when I die.

8. You shall adopt internal laws and rules of ethics in accord with the supreme interest of our planet and of humanity.

9. You shall protect the sacred rights of the human person and obey the universal human rights injunctions of the United Nations.

10. You shall insure the internal peace, love and happiness of your members and live in harmony with our planet, with all humanity and with the God of the Universe.

Together we shall establish peace, love and happiness for all on our beautiful life-teeming Earth circling, journeying and evolving in the breath-taking, mysterious unfathomable Universe.

Missing on this planet is a source providing information on all existing world prizes given for achievements by individuals or institutions for a better world. There are innumerable prizes scattered all over the world but no central source of information. I recommend that one should be created.

In Idea 300 of 6 May 1995 in Volume I I wrote the following: It is with human groups as it is with individuals, we become what we want to become.

Therefore we must also make an effort to define what we want to become as a human family or species on this planet: What ideal human society do we want to be in the next century? What kind of Earth do we want to see around us? What kind of ideal human government do we want? What kind of ideal information, medias and newspapers do we want? What kind of ideal education do we want for our children? and so on. Not many efforts having been made in these directions,

I recommend that a World Commission of Eminent Personalities on Human Ideals be created to answer these fundamental questions. It could change the fate of the world.

I BELIEVE

I believe in the absolute sacredness, uniqueness and prodigy of each human life;

I believe that humanity on this miraculous, wondrous, life-teaming planet has a tremendous cosmic destiny to fulfill and that a major transformation is about to take place in our evolution;

I believe that unprecedented life-fulfillment, consciousness, transcendence, happiness and union with God are the true objectives of life. I believe that cooperation, commitment to life, altruism and love are the means to that fulfillment;

I believe that an unprecedented, all-encompassing new evolutionary agenda now faces humanity, namely:

a. the harmony between humanity and our planet;
b. the harmony and peace of the human family;
c. our harmony with time;
d. our harmony with the heavens;
e. our personal, individual harmony.

I believe that the main action, inspiration and wish for this transformation rests with each of the more than 6 billion individuals of this planet;

I believe that humanity must now transcend its magnificent material and scientific achievements into the moral, effective and spiritual fields. The next frontiers of humanity will be the heart and the soul of which an even lesser percentage than that of the brain is being used;

I believe in humanity's capacity for unparalleled thinking, perception, inspiration, elevation, planning, cooperation and love for the achievement of a major transformation and the advent of a peaceful, happy and godly society on Earth;

I believe that humanity should hold each year on 1 January a world-wide Celebration of Life.

I commit myself

to thank God every day for the unbelievable gift of life;

to take good care of the miraculous cosmic unit I have been given, physically, mentally, morally and spiritually;

to be a peaceful, loving, kind, happy and healthy person all my life;

to defend the first universal, cosmic law: "Thou shall not kill, not even in the name of a nation or a faith";

to reimburse God and society for the privilege of being alive through my contributions to a better, more just, kinder, happier and peaceful world;

to devote every moment of my life, every thought, every action and every movement of my heart to the transformation of our planet into a true paradise in the universe;

to leave behind me children, friends, actions, thoughts and works which will continue to help humanity's further ascent and transformation towards cosmic fulfillment;

to spend my spiritual or reincarnated life after death in doing good for my beloved planet Earth and the proud human race.

When I send to the Secretary General of the United Nations my Volume VIII of 4000 Ideas and Dreams for a Better World I will suggest to him to ask an official to establish and keep track of a list of the people or governments who were at the origin of the creation of new institutions and programs in the United Nations.

This is a history which is being lost and which would show what can be done by individuals and governments to strengthen a world institutional system like the United Nations.

Costa Rica is at the origin of a half a dozen of such initiatives like the International Day of Peace, United Nations Day, the creation of the High Commissioner for Human Rights, the first cease-fires, the UN University for Peace.

All this should be recorded.

I dictated how the minute of silence for prayer or meditation and the meditation room at the United Nations were born and how the World Health Organization was the result of a dream by a Doctor Chisholm. I have opened a file to continue to dictate such souvenirs. They might be a valuable part of the world's global history.

People are unreasonable, illogical and self-centered. Love them anyway.
