[GMW #3801] Be Right For Humanity - Redeploy Military & Armament Industries For Nurturing A Better World

[GMW #3801] Be Right For Humanity - Redeploy Military & Armament Industries For Nurturing A Better World Idea Dream - Robert Muller's Ideas 3001 to 4000
~ Idea 4196 ~
An interesting point of human nature: The militaries of the US government recommend that a large number of military bases existing in various US states be suppressed in order to save money.

The US newspapers report that this is strongly opposed by US parliamentarians from the 'affected' states which do not want to lose the income and employment derived from those bases.

Well, here is a repetition of what happens with nations: they do not want to reduce their militaries and armaments in order not to lose the industries and employment deriving from them.

HOW WRONG CAN HUMANITY GET?

Robert's The Miracle, Joy and Art of Living,
Volume III - The Seasons of Life
Chapter 8 - The Life Beyond
It is not right to burn the demised.
It is not right to lock them in non-degradable coffins
It is not right to imprison them in vaults of cement.
It is not right to make mummies out of them

The Earth wants them back into her fold
to reabsorb them into her flesh and elements
and resurrect them into innumerable, evolving, other life forms.
Amen

The Book Of Life - J. Krishnamurti - Daily Quotes
VIRTUE HAS NO AUTHORITY

Can the mind be free from authority, which means free from fear, so that it is no longer capable of following? If so, this puts an end to imitation, which becomes mechanical.

After all, virtue, ethics, is not a repetition of what is good.
The moment it becomes mechanical, it ceases to be virtue.

Virtue is something that must be from moment to moment, like humility. Humility cannot be cultivated, and a mind that has no humility is incapable of learning. So virtue has no authority.

The social morality is no morality at all; it's immoral because it admits competition, greed, ambition, and therefore society is encouraging immorality.

Virtue is something that transcends morality. Without virtue there is no order, and order is not according to a pattern, according to a formula. A mind that follows a formula through disciplining itself to achieve virtue creates for itself the problems of immorality.

An external authority that the mind objectifies, apart from the law, as God, as moral, and so on, becomes destructive when the mind is seeking to understand what real virtue is.

We have our own authority as experience, as knowledge, which we are trying to follow. There is this constant repetition, imitation, which we all know. Psychological authority -not the authority of the law, the policeman who keeps order- the psychological authority, which each one has, becomes destructive of virtue because virtue is something that is living, moving.

As you cannot possibly cultivate humility, as you cannot possibly cultivate love, so also virtue cannot be cultivated; and there is great beauty in that.

Virtue is nonmechanical, and without virtue there is no foundation for clear thinking.

[GMW #3800] Nurture Examples Of The Virtues And Beauty Of Unity In Diversity

[GMW #3800] Nurture Examples Of The Virtues And Beauty Of Unity In Diversity Idea Dream - Robert Muller's Ideas 3001 to 4000
~ Idea 4195 ~
During the yearly Fiesta in Santa Barbara early in August many people of Spanish and Mexican origin wear their traditional costumes. They are so beautiful. Women's garments are often of very ancient family origin. I recommend that this should be done on every Sunday and holiday in all countries.

It would be a wonderful example of the virtues and beauty of unity in diversity. It would contribute to the love between husband and wife and the happiness of the children who would not forget it and might continue this tradition.

Robert's The Miracle, Joy and Art of Living,
Volume III - The Seasons of Life
Chapter 7 - Return to Mother Earth
All humans should have the right not to be burned, but to be buried into the Earth in order to be reabsorbed by the Earth and reborn into other life forms.  The Earth is entitled to the return to her of the enormous biomass of the fifty millions of humans who die every year.

[GMW #3799] Consider The Whole Human Family A Cosmic Family

[GMW #3799] Consider The Whole Human Family A Cosmic Family   Idea Dream - Robert Muller's Ideas 3001 to 4000
~ Idea 4194 ~
Barbara and I call ourselves a cosmic couple as the Mayans called themselves in ancient times.

Why not extend that concept and consider the whole human family as a cosmic family, each member of it being a cosmic unit? How interesting that would be. We must try it.

Robert's The Miracle, Joy and Art of Living,
Volume III - The Seasons of Life
Chapter 7 - Return to Mother Earth
I want to be interred (in terra, in the Earth) and covered by ground on which a fruit tree will be planted, so that I will resurrect in the form of a tree and fruits and receive God's solar energy every day and the visit of birds, squirrels and monkeys.

[GMW #3798] Create A World Peoples' Movement For Paradise Earth

[GMW #3798] Create A World Peoples' Movement For Paradise Earth Idea Dream - Robert Muller's Ideas 3001 to 4000
~ Idea 4193 ~
Making the Earth a true paradise is conceived principally as an action which should come from the top: governments giving up wars, ensuring the well-being of all their people, suppressing the colossal armaments and military expenditures.

But there is more to it: each individual, each one of us can make of our personal life a paradise, our family a paradise and contribute to making our neighborhood, our village, our city a paradise of peace, justice, happiness and beauty. Barbara and I do it with Mr. Rasur in Costa Rica.

Why not create a World Peoples' Movement for Paradise Earth.

Robert's The Miracle, Joy and Art of Living,
Volume III - The Seasons of Life
Chapter 7 - Return to Mother Earth
Write down what you would like to see as your epitaph.  It will tell people a lot about who you were and how you related to the universe, to God and to Mother Earth.

[GMW #3797] World-Wide Patent Justice

[GMW #3797] World-Wide Patent Justice Idea Dream - Robert Muller's Ideas 3001 to 4000
~ Idea 4192 ~
The question of patents needs to be dealt with by a world conference.

About 375,000 patent applications are deposited in the United States alone in a fiscal year. A good number of them are accepted. Over the years one sees an incredible number of active patents held primarily by the western, rich countries. This increases the distance between the rich and poor countries.

WIPO, the World Intellectual Property Organization should give the world a comprehensive report on that subject and suggest how more justice could be obtained world- wide.

Robert's The Miracle, Joy and Art of Living,
Volume III - The Seasons of Life
Chapter 7 - Return to Mother Earth
Now I dream to be buried with my beloved two spouses on sacred Mt. Rasur, in Costa Rica, above the UN University for Peace, with this inscription on our tomb:
We will spend our heaven helping you make peace on Earth.  Please open yourself, pray for us, let us enter you, reincarnate in you with our experience, ideas and dreams for a better world.
