[GMW #3077] Support Little Merchants Living Moderate Lives

[GMW #3077] Support Little Merchants Living Moderate Lives
Idea Dream - Robert Muller's Ideas 3001 to 3500
~ Idea 3477 ~
Do not bring your money to the rich, to the big stores, to the supermarkets. Do not buy the Coca Colas and other soft drinks. Support the little merchants who need you to live moderate lives and bring up well their children.

Robert's The Miracle, Joy and Art of Living,
Volume  II Chapter 13 Of Speaking
The chief of the UN guides said to me:
"I apologize that only half of the guides were here to listen to you. You deserve a much vaster audience." I answered: "Each human brother or sister listening is a precious audience. They give us one of their most precious possessions: their time, a fraction of their life. One must therefore speak to one person as one would speak to many. This is why your guides have such a sacred work: every day hundreds of human minds, hearts and souls of visitors are open to them. You are inspiring guides in the greatest universal building ever on this planet."

WORD FOR THE DAY
If the only prayer you ever say in your entire life
is thank you, it will be enough.

Decide To Be A Joy-full Elder - World Elder Day

Hello GMW readers;

It is with great joy that I write to all of you on Wednesday, October 1 on the International Day of Elders. I am a Gerontologist and have dedicated many years of my life to the study, implementation and testing of therapeutic ways to uplift and inspire our elders to a better wholistic quality of life.

... (See rest of message and Decide To poem here.)

Here is a poem I wrote and dedicated to my dear friend and mentor, Robert in 2005 on the International Day of Elders. I dedicate this poem today to all persons in our Planet Of Peace Earth that have decided to never grow old.

Decide To Be A Joy-full Elder
by Katherine Ward

Decide to be a joy-full elder
Decide to always wear your smile
in Spring, Winter of Fall
the joy that you give to others
is the joy that multiplies.

Decide to dream your dreams
life is for living as you know
and if you live, laugh, serve and love
you'll never grow old.

Decide to enjoy the ride
decide to sing and dance
letting the rhythmic happy heart
compose the songs
lighting up the passion
for a better world.

Decide to plant seeds of LOVE
Brother wind... spread the deeds!
Teach the children and humanity
songs and good words
not judging but listening
not imposing but sharing those better ways
not dwelling on the problem
but treasure-mapping the solutions
... together, always together.

The windows of your soul
can not hide the magic and fun world behind
for as long as there is life in you
there will always be a better way
and it is the spark of your personality
and your tireless spirit for Peace
a contagious inspiration to never grow old.

Decide to be a magnificent elder
beyond the weave
that shapes your presence in this world
and if reincarnation is an option
come back as art, pencils and paper
trees or butterflies
harmonicas or nightingales
the essence of humanity
will rejoice again!

Decide to be a joy-full elder
a human being with everlasting
sense of wonder,
sense of humor,
reverence for life,
LOVE for the green
LOVE for what can be seen and feel
LOVE for the impossible dream.

Decide to be like Dr. Robert Muller
the youthful eternal light
that remains intact.

Love and light!
Katherine

[GMW #3076] Elevating Earth Into The Spiritual, Cosmic Throbbing Of The Universe

[GMW #3076] Elevating Earth Into The Spiritual, Cosmic Throbbing Of The Universe
Idea Dream - Robert Muller's Ideas 3001 to 3500

~ Idea 3476 ~
At a conference on world peace and inner peace in May 1999 at the International School of Amsterdam created on the basis of my World Core Curriculum, the following thought of mine was the guideline:

"The time has come for the implementation of a spiritual vision of the world's affairs. The entire planet must elevate itself into the spiritual, cosmic throbbing of the universe."

During the conference these other statements were also cited:
"Our main task today is to raise individuals to a higher spiritual level enabling them to respect their inner selves and be impelled by a moral force."
~ Gorbachev

"If in the next ten years we do not succeed in giving a soul, a spirituality selfhood and a meaning to Europe our efforts will have been in vain."
~ Jacques Delors
President of the European Commission

"What I believe is that Europe needs more soul."
~ Jacques Santer
Prime Minister of Luxembourg

Robert's The Miracle, Joy and Art of Living,
Volume  II Chapter 13 Of Speaking
Every human being has stories to tell. Please tell them. They are the blood-stream of our cosmic journey, the transmission of human wisdom, learning and knowledge over eons of time. Sometimes I am mad at myself for not having told and written many more stories.

Climb the mountain not to plant your flag,
but to
embrace the challenge,
enjoy the air and behold the view.

Climb it so you can see the world,
not so the world can see you.

[GMW #3075] Dreams Become A Reality With Dreams, Ideas, Optimism

[GMW #3075] Dreams Become A Reality With Dreams, Ideas, Optimism
Idea Dream - Robert Muller's Ideas 3001 to 3500

~ Idea 3469 ~
Positive thinking, dreams, ideas and optimism are creating cosmic waves which in mysterious ways still unknown to us help our dreams become a reality. Since we are all cosmic beings this is not unnatural.

Robert's The Miracle, Joy and Art of Living,
Volume  II Chapter 13 Of Speaking
A good poet brings joy, enlivens, beautifies, validates, elevates all Creation and living beings around him. To elevate people, what a beautiful task!

WORD FOR THE DAY
If you see good in people, you radiate a harmonious loving energy which uplifts those who are around you. If you can maintain this habit, this energy will turn into a steady flow of love.

[GMW #3074] No Toleration For Nations' Armies Of Killers

[GMW #3074] No Toleration For Nations' Armies Of Killers

Idea Dream - Robert Muller's Ideas 3001 to 3500

~ Idea 3468 ~
I will never cease wondering how the supposedly most advanced, intelligent species on planet Earth, humanity, can take such contradictory, opposed stands on the following:

- on the one hand consider the killing of a human being by another as the highest conceivable crime, take innumerable measures to prevent it and punish it most severely including by a death penalty.

- on the other hand tolerate that its territorial subdivisions called nations arm themselves with the most horrible weapons capable of destroying all life on Earth, to have entire armies of killers who are congratulated, honored, medaled and remembered as heroes in history.

What would we say if we found in the universe another planet with a species doing that?

Kindness In An Age of Connected Disconnection
Years ago, we didn't have to try so hard to stay connected. People lived in neighborhoods, and there weren't many strangers that didn't ultimately become friends. We watched over one another with relationships built upon a foundation of shared interdependence, ensuring plenty of kindness to go around. Sadly though, through our own scientific progress, we now live in an age of 'connected disconnection.' Even the most basic of needs are provided by faceless entities. But, at what cost? Read on to learn of the direct correlation between kindness and personal connection. { read more }

Be The Change
Try to bring awareness to those moments of disconnectedness. Or, alternately, why not designate an hour of your day to go 'hands free' instead?

[GMW #3073] Rapid Correction For Just and Proper Government At All Levels - A Fundamental Human Right

[GMW #3073] Rapid Correction For Just and Proper Government At All Levels - A Fundamental Human Right
Idea Dream - Robert Muller's Ideas 3001 to 3500

~ Idea 3467 ~
There is another very fundamental human right which must be claimed by the people of the world: the right to just and proper government at all levels: municipal, state, provincial, national, continental and world level. The present political system which lets the rich get richer among countries and inside countries cannot be allowed to continue. Revolutions against it must be avoided by rapid correction.

Robert's The Miracle, Joy and Art of Living,
Volume  II Chapter 13 Of Speaking

Commenting on a high United Nations official who had a bad reputation, U Thant's daughter said to me:
"When this man was appointed, I asked my father what he thought of him, but he remained silent. That meant that he was not happy with the appointment. But he would not say anything, because he would never speak badly about any human being. Silence was as far as he would go to mark his disapproval."

Perhaps he felt that he should not disapprove what the universe was doing. That there was a reason.
