[GMW #3072] Population A World Priority

[GMW #3072] Population A World Priority
Idea Dream - Robert Muller's Ideas 3001 to 3500

~ Idea 3466 ~
How many leaders in the world worry about the fact that there will be seventy-eight million more people in the world in this year 2000 after deducting from the 128 million of newly born the 50 million humans who will die and that next year the increase will be only a little less, namely seventy-six million more people?

A much more rapid decline of population should be a priority item on the agenda of world affairs.

Robert's The Miracle, Joy and Art of Living,
Volume  II Chapter 13 Of Speaking
The same way as the Hopis sing to their corn to help it grow, we must sing to our whole being, to our body, to our eyes, to our heart, to our mind, to the trillions of cells, our helpers of life. A mother sings to her child. A couple sings and dances when falling in love. The whole world must learn to sing and to dance together. World cooperation must take the form of a festival, of a joyous world-wide song and dance.

Daily Good
There is no need for temples; no need for complicated philosophy.
Our own brain, our own heart is our temple;
the philosophy is kindness.
~ Dalai Lama

Radical Kindness: The Banker Who Gave It All Away
On the surface, Philip Wollen does not look like the radical type. Named as one of the top-wanted executives in Australia, he was a vice-president of Citibank when he was 34 and a general manager at Citicorp. Around 1990, however, Philip decided to give away 90% of his capital. His aim, he says, is to die broke; to give away all he owns with "warm hands." Now, his Winsome Constance Kindness Trust (named after his mother and grandmother) supports all sorts of humanitarian causes around he world. The website of his trust says, "we don't want your money," and proclaims that its mission is "to promote kindness towards all other living beings." { read more }

Be The Change
Think of something you own
that would make another person very happy
and give it away with love.

[GMW #3071] Make Good, Significant Political Changes Each Year For A Proper Global Earth Government

[GMW #3071] Make Good, Significant Political Changes Each Year For A Proper Global Earth Government
Idea Dream - Robert Muller's Ideas 3001 to 3500

~ Idea 3465 ~
The only good, significant political changes in the last fifty-five years, since the creation of the UN were:

no world war
decolonization:
the end of the cold war
the creation of the European Union of fifteen countries henceforth without borders between them
the creation of Ministries of the Environment
the creation of a Vice-President for Global Affairs in the United States.

Still missing are:
Ministries of Peace
Ministries of the Future
Ministries of Happiness
Ministries of Cleanliness

A proper global Earth government

Robert's The Miracle, Joy and Art of Living,
Volume  II Chapter 13 Of Speaking
In my whole life I have never delivered a single speech written by someone else.
And when I was writing speeches for the Secretary General of the UN, my happiest day was when U Thant said to me: "Robert, you have given me back my love for my work. Again, I have pleasure to write and give my own speeches. Here is the text you prepared for me. I have rewritten more than half of it. I hope you will not object." I embraced him instead.

[GMW #3070] Constantly Creating New Political & Social Ideas For A Better World

[GMW #3070] Constantly Creating New Political & Social Ideas For A Better World Idea Dream - Robert Muller's Ideas 3001 to 3500

~ Idea 3464 ~
The whole scientific world, the whole business, marketing and advertising worlds are filled with ideazation, i.e. constantly new ideas. The only worlds which are almost devoid of ideas are the political and the social worlds which are the most important ones to bring about a better world and ensure our ascending evolution.

Robert's The Miracle, Joy and Art of Living,
Volume  II Chapter 13 Of Speaking
A speech-writer for a great personality has succeeded only when that personality takes pleasure again in preparing his own speeches.

[GMW #3069] Fly Less To Reduce The Increasing Near Collisions Of Airplanes

[GMW #3069] Fly Less To Reduce The Increasing Near Collisions Of Airplanes
Idea Dream - Robert Muller's Ideas 3001 to 3500

~ Idea 3463 ~
I heard over the radio that the number of near collisions of airplanes in the United States is increasing very substantially: it now reaches about 150 daily.

Robert's The Miracle, Joy and Art of Living,
Volume  II Chapter 13 Of Speaking
No one on Earth, especially the leaders, should have speech-writers. There is nothing more untrue than someone who reads a speech written by someone else. To speak is a personal, sacred duty. A few intimate words from the heart would be infinitely better.

[GMW #3068] Nurturing Nature At Home

[GMW #3068] Nurturing Nature At Home Idea Dream - Robert Muller's Ideas 3001 to 3500
~ Idea 3462 ~
From our well-preserved, little farm on sacred Mt. Rasur we can see more and more planes landing and taking off in the valley below. They are now bringing daily two thousand foreign tourists to see in Costa Rica a nature they envy, having in large part lost theirs at home. What a pollution these planes produce. It seems that no country can win anymore.

Robert's The Miracle, Joy and Art of Living,
Volume  II Chapter 13 Of Speaking
I am often asked:
How can you speak without notes?
I answer:
How could I speak with notes, when I must speak with my mind, heart, knowledge, feelings and innermost soul?
