When
we look at us human
beings we see that
we are all made of
intakes and
outflows: intakes of
air, nourishment,
water, sight,
hearing; outflows of
speaking, breath,
liquids and wastes.
And we see that many
animals around us
and also vegetations
have similar intakes
and outflows. Many
species have eyes,
ears, a mouth or a
beak to take
nourishment and to
drink. Trees and
plants are getting
intakes of solar
energy through their
leaves, and liquids
and nourishment
through their roots.
They have no
eyesight, no
hearing, they have
no voice but they
have perhaps other
invisible ones. I
wonder if there
exist across the
board sciences which
study all the eye
sights, all the ways
of nourishment, all
the hearings, all
the brains, all the
sounds emitted by
humans and animals
and so on and so
forth. This could be
the great world
comprehensive
biology of the
Earth. There should
be universities
specializing in what
we have in common
with, and different
from all other
species. The results
might be wonders. I
apologize if there
are already such
universities. I
would like to hear
more about them.
