I spoke and wrote so much in my life to stop all wars and to
increase human longevity. They were two of my preferred subjects
and much has been achieved on both accounts. Two blessings occur
to me now: that I was saved under the most miraculous
circumstances in World War II and I reached the age of
seventy-seven, two years more than the average life expectancy in
the United States.
