I am a positive and optimistic man. The religions are working together to make a world spirituality organization --- we will talk together …. study …. inspire each other to re-in-store a global spirituality.

How the University for Peace came into being.
All cooperations will unite in a global cooperative to preserve nature and humanity.

How China became a member of the United Nations.

How to reform the United Nations.

… We should have a second United Nations. …I will continue to fight for a basic reform of the United Nations. And if the United Nations is not reformed I will recommend that the European Union which has now so many countries from even outside of Europe that the European Union should become the World Union. And that the United Nations should be left aside in a secondary condition. We can not continue in that way. … reform … the countries can do it. There is no doubt about it.

…. One thing that always has been an impediment is that nobody during all these years intended to even speak about the reform of the UN. And this year for the first time all governments around the world have agreed that we should discuss the reform of the UN. So that is big . The wonderful ideas … can become discussable. …

We have to continue until it works. Humanity has lived so long in isolation from each other, in disrespect from each other, in wars against each other, religious wars, national wars.

It was a mess! … Second world war which cost 30 million people At long last they created a United Nations. They made it as weak as possible. But now the time has come where we must strengthen it.

And I continue to write my books. … re-publication of my book Most of All They Taught Me Happiness in which I show how happiness should be obtained in every country on earth.

Render others happy, proclaim your joy, Do not listen to promises, do not wait for a better world. … Switch on and keep on the positive buttons within yourself … meditative, smile, laugh, … dance … sing …

I will continue. I want to live as long as possible. … I will continue to do this in order to come forth with ideas and with the proclamation that we need a new type of world

World war II .. could have been avoided if there had been unity among nations.

I would bet and I have stated this time and again. There will never be a world war anymore on this planet. That is out.

They do not dare. Now it is at lower levels. It's inside countries and its in places like Iraq where the United States continues to give a life to the militaries. And that will disappear too. There is no doubt.

We can not afford wars and things of this sort. That is obsolete.

Let us make paradise earth.

I answered: work for peace so that my children and grandchildren will not see the horrors I saw in this war.  He shrugged his shoulders and said: "There are no peace jobs in this world.  You can forget it."  Well, fate and a good essay on world government opened to me the doors of the United Nations and an entire adult life devoted to peace.  I think the time has come to have more peace professions and jobs at all levels of society.  It should be a new category in world and national employment statistics. [GMW #2195] World Volunteer Program - Paying Youth & Unemployed - Creating Worldwide Friendship Monday 18 April 2011, Editor: Easy | RobertMuller.org | Contact | Subscribe | Unsubscribe | Biography | World Core Curriculum | Store | Facebook | Twitter | GMW Blogs: English | Portuguese | Spanish | Tagalog | Dutch | Idea Dream - Robert Muller's Ideas 1001 to 1500 ~ Idea 1482 ~    1 August 1998 I think more and more that with the problem of unemployment, especially of young people, the question of volunteer services inside and between nations should be taken much more seriously, not as a side issue but as a central one.  Why not indeed have vast numbers of young people in social, health, environmental and other services employed and paid by governments as volunteer servants? The funding could come from reduced military and armaments expenditures.  I suggest that a world conference on volunteer services be held by the United Nations or the International Labor Organization to study the vast potential of that subject and how it could be best organized.  I could well see volunteer services promoted world-wide under a new United Nations Volunteer Agency.  Foreign volunteer aid could perhaps become as substantial as foreign financial aid.  Years ago I obtained the creation of a UN World Food Program to prevent that surplus food crops be burned in the rich countries and be sent instead to hungry people and refugees in the poor world.  It became the biggest international aid program.  I would like to see something similar created for unemployed, young people, a World Volunteer Program which would also create more international friendships and solidarity.  Why not?  There should be at least as less unemployment and wasted human talent as there are now no longer any wasted, burned surplus food crops.  The latter have completely disappeared from this planet. I begin to see a rather black future for Costa Rica if this continues. Hello: I am sending photos from Anoo School in Vijayawada, Andhra Pradesh, India. I am in the final steps of converting the school to the World Core Curriculum. Anoo is a public school but privately funded for children too poor to pay for public school. There are 130 students in grades one through seven. I took these photos last week when I spent time there with the teachers and students in the conversion. You see the students sitting on the floor as they usually do. The two upper grades have benches sand seats, the rest sit on the floor. They are a happy and enthusiastic group with lots of potential if given the chance. They have few resources which is one thing I am working on in implementing the WWC. I talked to the student body about being a sister school with a school in Greece.
