Most citizens of this Earth are programmed into small geographic segments of the world, into harmful values and narrow ideals and interests of which they remain prisoners for the rest of their lives.

The Robert Muller schools introduce the children into the total planetary home, the total human family, the total stream of time and the fundamental values, ideals and interests common to all humans.

Their world core curriculum should be adopted by all schools on Earth (see table at end of the first 100 ideas), and some day it will.

The indigenous people of Guatemala cultivate love relationships with death. They keep their coffin near their house, place flowers on it, talk to it, get accustomed to it, because it will be their longest, permanent home.

This planet cannot go on with the present political and economic systems. It would go to its total ruin.

The best minds and political leaders must address this fundamental question of our time. All the rest is secondary.

We should not accept that humans will be the grave-diggers of this beautiful planet and of humanity.

We must sit down like the states did in Philadelphia 200 years ago and write a proper constitution for the Earth and humanity.

O death! I should not hate you. You are only doing your job.

You have watched over my shoulder during all my life, reminding me to value the world, its beauties, its living beings and my miraculous temporary life.

And you will bring me peace, eternal peace. O death! Forgive me. I was not told that you will be with me much longer than the angel of life.

I should have thought of you more often, befriended you, loved you while alive and seen you as my companion during eternity.

I have neglected and underestimated my two longest and most faithful companions: God and Death!

The happy heart gives away the best. To know how to receive is also a most important gift, which cultivates generosity in others and keeps strong the cycle of life.

There exist already today a few world hymns: Pablo Casals' hymn of the United Nations, the hymn of Europe (Beethoven's Ode to Joy).

More hymns should be composed and adopted for all continents and global areas, for natural regions, global entities, universal human values, global marvels and heritages, global celebrations. UNESCO should keep a record of such hymns, give prizes for them and promote them.

I believe that only those who see themselves after their death will survive in the memory of humankind.

As Socrates said:
"The nearest way to glory is to strive to be what you wish to be thought to be."

Or as U Thant said:

I just finished reading Prophet The Hatmaker’s Son. Having originally heard your voice on a Sunday Service tape at Agape International Spiritual Center in Culver City, CA some time ago, I was immediately touched by your presence and vividly retained portions of your life experiences shared. I’ve been receiving your emails for some time and dug into Mr. Gillies book. I look forward to reading your books.

I must share with you that it feels so good to know you are alive during my lifetime. To be influenced by your sojourn in earth and devotion to Peace brings truly a deep warmth.

I also receive emails from Monty Roberts, a man devoted to non-violence (peace) in the horse world. If you have not heard of him, you may enjoy hearing the tone of his commitment as expressed in a recent June e-mail.

Violence and pressure as a teaching method does not only exist in the world of teaching a horse - how far is it possible to transfer your nonviolent method to the education of pupils or to the working environment?

Monty's Answer: There is very little difference in my world of teaching children or training horses. Violence is never the answer and children and horses seem to know this better than adults do.

I dream that somewhere a World Center devoted to the birth, history and growth of the Global World Community will be created as a contribution to the year 2000 and our entry into the 21st century and third millennium. I offer my peace park next to the University for Peace as its seat.
